Parent Volunteers
Volunteer Service Sign-Up, Certification and Information
Volunteers play such an important role in the success of St. Robert School and its ability to have a positive impact on your child’s education. Volunteering is also a great way to meet and to get to know other parents. Families are expected to volunteer for about 4 events throughout the year or make a financial contribution via check to “St. Robert Home & School”.
The annual Emerald Auction is our biggest fundraiser and volunteering for some area of it is mandatory. Annually, the events hosted by the Home & School Board contribute over $200K to the school’s operating budget.

Service Certification Information
All of us are aware of how the recent disclosures of child sexual abuse now hang like a dark shadow over the Catholic Church. As part of the efforts to make sure that this tragic chapter is never repeated, the bishops now require anyone who works with children to undergo a Criminal Background Check, read the Archdiocesan Ethical Code of Conduct and attend a Safe Environment Education workshop (none of these cost you any money).
SAFE ENVIRONMENT
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee and St. Robert School are committed to maintaining safe environments for children to learn, pray, and grow. This page contains information on requirements every priest, deacon, parish or school employee, lay ministry and volunteer working with minors are required to meet. If you are contemplating volunteering in a ministry that works with minors or at the school, please review this information. If you are concerned about protecting children, or offering outreach to victims or survivors, here are ten tips.
SAFE ENVIRONMENT EDUCATION TRAINING
Trainings focus on identifying grooming behaviors, recognizing signs of abuse and neglect, and how to report concerning behavior of abuse and neglect to the proper authorities. This training is part of the safe environment certification process, and is a crucial part of training our adults to prepare them to volunteer in our parish/school.
Contact Debe in the Parish Office for information on upcoming training sessions.
