School Advisory Commission
School Advisory Commission
The School Advisory Commission (the “SAC”) serves in an advisory capacity to assist the Principal (Lucas Stangler) and Father Enrique in operating the school. The SAC does not have any decision making authority but does provide parental and parishioner insights on key issues including financial performance and budgeting, curriculum, staffing, faith formation, compensation and benefits, organizational structure, marketing, recruitment, fundraising, policies, strategic planning, etc.
Membership of the SAC is comprised of nine individuals who are appointed by Father Enrique and the Principal in addition to three liaison members representing the Parish, Athletics and Home and School. The SAC meets monthly during the school year, typically on the 2 nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 in the Gathering Room on the 2nd floor of the school.

- The Development Committee supports the Director of Marketing and Engagement in the planning and implementation of the Annual Fund appeal and growing the endowment and scholarship funds to keep tuition affordable and maintain accessibility.
- The Marketing and Recruitment Committee works directly with the Director of Marketing and Engagement to develop and implement marketing, retention and recruitment strategies and materials to increase the awareness of the school and to attract and retain enrollment.

SAC MEETINGS
The SAC meetings are divided into two sessions – an open session at the beginning of the meeting for non-members to attend including parents, teachers and parishioners followed by a closed session which is limited to the SAC members and the three liaisons along with the Principal and Father Enrique. The reason for the closed session is that there are certain matters which are sensitive in nature and require a level of confidentiality.
For the open session of the SAC meetings, there is no reservation required to attend. However, in the event that someone attending a meeting would like to actively discuss a particular topic, they will need to receive approval from either the Principal (Lucas Stangler) or the chair of the SAC (Katherine Murray) in advance of the meeting either by phone or email in order that the issue can be added to the agenda. Meetings are held at 6:00pm in the Saint Robert School Gathering Room on the dates below.
The meeting schedule for the 2026/27 school year is as follows:
